Job Description

Role Requirements:

• Designing and drafting of control panel layout drawings as well as schematic drawings and SLD’s
• Should possess knowledge in the wiring standards
• Knowhow of GLOBAL standards (e.g. IEC, ANSI, NFPA, BSI and CENELEC), Switchgear and component selection, type characteristic of the components.
• Required Eplan P8 tool experience of minimum 3 Yrs. including Eplan database management, macros creation, assemblies, place holder objects & layouts 2D and 3D creation.
• Design knowledge of Electrical schematics, Controls & PLC architecture & panel design preferably from Power Generation industry
• BricsCad - Basic knowledge & functioning, Block modification, Template modifications, knowledge of OLE objects, View port and layout creation.
• Knowledge about Diesel, Gas Engines, Gensets & peripheral devices
• Knowledge of selection and coordination of relays, contactors, fuses, transformers and cable sizes of the electrical system with calculations.

• Required knowledge of Generator, Switchgear and ATS as well as selection of component in accordance with Electrical duty cycle.
• Work closely with the Technical Architect to support the transition of functional design into technical design.
• Analyze, document and communicate end to end process documentation to stake holders
• An ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel (USA) for project assignments as required.
