Senior Engineer - Electrical (Genset Installation, Testing & Gas Genset Service)
We are looking for a Project Engineer with at least 8 years of experience in genset installation, testing, commissioning, and service. The ideal candidate must have a strong electrical background and hands-on expertise in panel wiring, LT/HT alternators, protection relay testing, and gas genset service & troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and test diesel & gas gensets as per project specifications.
- Expertise in gas genset service, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Perform kinetic powerpack maintenance & troubleshooting.
- Read and execute electrical diagrams for panel wiring.
- Configure and test protection relays and genset controllers.
- Perform insulation tests for alternators and cables.
- Handle measurement data acquisition systems and DVR software.
- Monitor panels and cables during testing.
- Troubleshoot genset control and auxiliary systems.
- Conduct various breaker panel tests
- Ensure compliance with ISO 8528-5 & 8528-12 genset testing procedures.
- Collaborate with project teams, conduct scoping meetings, and contribute to team building.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on gas genset and kinetic powerpack issues.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills are a must.
