Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Engineer to join our dynamic team in the nuclear civil work industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing conceptual models of engineering delivery, building configuration conceptual, logical, and physical models (databases), and supporting the development of requirement management. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective industrialization of production processes within the nuclear civil work sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Conceptual Models:
Create and refine conceptual models of engineering delivery processes specific to nuclear civil work
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document engineering requirements and workflows
Ensure that conceptual models align with business objectives and technical constraints within the nuclear industry
Build Configuration Models:
Develop and maintain configuration conceptual, logical, and physical models for databases
Ensure data models are accurate, efficient, and scalable to support industrialization of production processes
Work closely with database administrators and developers to implement and optimize models
Support Requirement Management:
Assist in the development and management of engineering requirements for nuclear civil work projects
Ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated to all relevant stakeholders
Facilitate requirement reviews and validation sessions with stakeholders
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and IT specialists
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Provide training and support to team members on modelling and requirement management best practices
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in the industrialization of production processes
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to system engineering and database modelling
Contribute to the development of internal standards and guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience in system engineering, with a focus on conceptual modelling, database configuration, and requirement management, preferably in the nuclear civil work industry
Proficient in modelling tools such as UML, BPMN, or similar
Strong knowledge of database design and management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant certifications in system engineering or database management are a plus
