System Engineer - R&D


We are seeking a versatile System Engineer with a strong and broad technical background to focus on the current and future generations of our Positron Emission Tomography (PET) systems. You will play a key role in building complex medical software and hardware products, ensuring high quality, reliability, safety for patients, and ease of maintenance.


As a System Engineer, you will collaborate with the mechanical, electrical, and software teams.


Key Responsibilities:


- Work across hardware development (electronics, mechanics), software development, and research teams to drive system improvements.


- Enhance system performance and calibration procedures to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.


- Analyze customer feedback to develop solutions that address user needs and improve product functionality.


- Lead and manage intra-team projects, including clinical applications, proof of concept for future products, and ongoing system improvements.


- Ensure that all projects adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.




Required Skills and Qualifications


- Master's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. PhD preferred.


- knowledge of medical imaging techniques and/or particle detectors readout


- C++, python, image reconstruction algorithms


- experience in regulated industry is a plus.
