Description

Mayvin is seeking an experienced Strategic Analyst to support the DTRA Strategic Integration (SI) Directorate in support of the DoD Combat Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) mission.

 

Clearance Required:  TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility

Position is contingent upon contract award.

 

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Provide complex analytical studies and activities.
  • Research topics, provide analysis, and deliver written and oral presentations on findings/insights.
  • Make recommendations on relevant, credible, and timely actions that can be taken in light of the findings.
  • Coordinate with analytic agencies and entities to assure integration of cross command products.
  • Provide analytic and operational expertise to all identified supported offices and personnel.
  • Provide written inputs to study plans, analysis reports, and final reports. Assist in reviewing and selecting externally conducted research on specific relevant topics in furtherance of group missions.
  • Support the identification of and research into emerging science and technology, WMD, and adversary threat trends to advise and develop recommendations for DTRA, DoD, and the CWMD Community for mitigation/elimination of the anticipated threat.
  • Analyze potential impacts of trends and emerging technology.
  • Report analysis, insights, findings, and recommendations to leadership
  • Review and translate national guidance into operationally relevant products.
  • Support the development of timely, concise occasional papers on special topics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) and familiarity with Chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in the above-described duties.
  • Experience of Joint, Service or COCOM staff desired.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Local to DC Metropolitan area
