Key Accountabilities:β
Depending on the scope of supply, participate in project technical specifications on Engineering Reviews and Engineering Validation Activities, Studies, Operability, Commissioning in design and Commissioning Procedures.
Participate and contribute to review various complex commissioning deliverables, analyze the documents and highlight the shortfalls through vigorous review process and address these shortfalls with the sales/project team.
Review commissioning schedule & optimize the duration.
Optimize FSR requirement & engagement on site during commissioning.
Participate FAT and attend SAT depending on project requirements.
Ensure adherence to QHSE policies.
Participates in meetings with the project team to review progress and addresses interface/implementation/execution issues where necessary.
Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Work with Project Team to verify and close out of all safety critical elements associated with the package.
Ensure all regulatory and statutory testing and requirements are performed and records are maintained.
Perform risk assessment for the commissioning scope, attend toolbox meetings.
Work with Project Team for day-to-day planning of work during commissioning testing phase, manage schedule & targets of the commissioning as required.
Coordinate with Project Team to identify and manage resource requirement to meet commissioning schedule and targets.
Work with Project Team and 3rd Party supplier to carry out functional testing of commissioned systems and engaging the operations team when and where needed.
Lead and execute pre-commissioning and commissioning together with operations team as per procedure and sign-off respective documents with client representative for system closure.
Prepare timely and accurate pre-commissioning & commissioning test report for records and submissions to project team.
Performs testing and commissioning activities together with operations team and forward documentations to project team for approval and signature.
Analyze, ascertain, and perform differentiation that the defects are warrantable or chargeable. To work with internal Project team and Customer Support Team to handle on defects claims.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering or related Engineering Disciplines
Min 2 to 4 years of related work experience on Power Generators or Original Equipment Manufacturer Generator sets. Data center facility knowledge a plus.
Possess working experience related to testing of LV/ MV Switchboards, power generators. Preferrable possess a LEW license Grade 7/8/9.
Capable of testing and calibration of Generator Control Panel and assist 3rd party supplier on Electrical switchboard and its components, troubleshooting and clear understanding of system specification.
Familiar with the Generator sets project testing procedures and applicable rules and regulations of regulatory bodies. E.g., SS, ISO 3046, 8528 and etc..
