Key Accountabilities:
As a Sales Engineer you will calculate budgets and generate sales quotations with full technical specifications for supply, installation and commissioning of our KPP (DUPS) systems in Singapore and Asia Pacific. You will work together with the company’s sales, project and customer service departments as well as with the company’s overseas manufacturing and sales departments. You will assist the sales managers in the development of sales presentations.
You will gather information about our clients’ needs and work with the sales managers to develop a tailored offer to ensure the KPP system is offered to the correct regulatory requirements and installation standards.
You must be able to answer to technical questions about the KPP functionality and its auxiliaries during sales and tender activities. Occasionally you will be asked to Complete/review Risk Assessments and Method statements for servicing and engineering based activities.
You need to be able to act as a solution provider and must have a highly result driven attitude. You always want to ‘deliver’ but accurate and comprehensive. Multitasking and coping with deadline pressure will be no issue for you. You need to be an independent thinker and require little supervision.
You must be able to check tender requirement and contractual obligations either confirm specifications of DUPS systems, its control system and power distribution at LV or MV level, as well as its auxiliaries like fuel transfer system, diesel engine cooling system, room ventilation and acoustic treatments. Therefore besides the must for a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally you have experience with Mechanical appliances as well.
You must be able to present the product, your ideas and information accurately and explain industry jargon in a clear manner for customers and consultants during presentations and tender clarifications and/or evaluations. Once a project would be awarded for the company a decent and accurate information transfer has to be organized by you.
Qualifications and Skills:
Min. Education Level : Diploma or Degree in the Field of Electrical Engineering
Affiliation with Diesel Engines and or Power Generation.
Working knowledge MV & LV critical power installations.
Experience required : 10 years as Diploma holder or 5 years as Degree holder in Power industry
Good communication skills, math, teamwork, analytical and critical for him or herself.
Clients orientated and understand tender procedures – commercial sense

Ability to understand single-line drawings
