In this role you will support the accredited Ionizing Radiation Calibration Facility. Responsibilities
- Perform Calibration, Quality Control and Research & Development irradiations for the Landauer External Dosimetry program.
- Perform irradiations for the Fluke Instrument Calibration program.
- Assist the Ionizing Radiation Calibration Facility Technical Expert and Radiation Safety Officer in maintaining regulatory and accreditation compliance.
- Champion continuous improvement for your organization, using the Fortive Business System (FBS) toolbox.
Qualifications

Required: High School Diploma

Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Medical Radiation Technology or related field.
- Experience with or an understanding of Radiation Measurement, Health Physics, Shielding or Dosimetry preferred.
- Must be willing and able to complete Trustworthiness and Reliability determination per 32 Illinois Administrative Code 337.
- Experience working both independently and with a team.
