Job Description
We are a premier engineering firm specializing in the nuclear industry. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and innovation, we support the detailed design and construction of nuclear power plants. We seek an experienced Project Manager to oversee our reinforcement detailing contract, joining a dedicated team advancing industry standards and contributing to critical infrastructure.
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the reinforcement detailing contract for nuclear civil works. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing resources, schedules, and quality control. The role demands a detailed-oriented professional with a background in civil engineering and experience in managing complex, highly regulated projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage Contract Execution: Oversee the entire reinforcement detailing contract lifecycle, ensuring milestones are met in line with project timelines and budgets.
Coordinate Design and Production: Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and subcontractors to streamline production across multiple sites, including international collaboration.
Oversee Reinforcement Detailing Processes: Manage technical detailing processes, ensuring compliance with relevant nuclear standards and integrating innovative, efficient practices.
Quality and Compliance Assurance: Ensure all deliverables adhere to industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements, focusing on the precision of reinforcement detailing.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate regular project meetings, update project plans, and maintain open communication with the Senior Project Manager, clients, and other stakeholders.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks specific to reinforcement detailing, implementing corrective measures proactively.
Resource and Team Management: Develop, support, and manage team performance, ensuring resource allocation aligns with project demands.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare status reports, document project changes, and track project progress for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelorβs degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven project management experience in civil works detailing within construction or engineering, preferably for nuclear or energy projects.
Strong understanding of reinforcement detailing principles, industry standards, and nuclear regulatory frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and experience coordinating multi-site production, including international teams.
Familiarity with nuclear safety and compliance standards.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is advantageous.
