- Responsible for the assigned projects from inception through to completion in Nuclear or Energy Projects
- Develop new project plans in consultation with stakeholders, including clients
- Direct the human and material resources required to complete assigned projects successfully
- Formulate a resource allocation strategy and utilize this to distribute work and budgets
- Exercise authority in managing the work and controlling the delivery of the projects per project plans
- Monitor project staff performance to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines
- Review and ensure observance of the overall scope, schedule, and budget
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Lead the tracking, monitoring, and reporting on performance against project requirements, schedule, milestones, budgets, quality measures, and KPIs, and addressing of issues with corrective actions as appropriate
- Evaluate the project's effectiveness by consulting with clients and project staff
- Oversee staff on progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences, including the project team, client executives, key stakeholders, and operations
- Direct the negotiation of scope changes
- Manage ongoing quality control checks and participate in quality issue resolution
- Define the success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle
- Set and interpret project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders
