Professional Engineering Year (PEY) Development Student:
Bruce Power is looking for dynamic, strategic and results-driven professionals to join our team in the role of Professional Engineering year (PEY) Student.
Our opportunities are for Engineering students to join Bruce Power for a period of 12-16 months. We have several exciting opportunities for students currently enrolled in an Engineering degree in a related discipline (Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear and Engineering Physics). The need and desire for an integrated team approach is critical at Bruce Power as we continue on a journey of excellence that will help drive our business forward. PEY development students are placed across the business to support special projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather engineering data to analyze, identify and resolve business issues.
Track, monitor and present metrics to improve the overall effectiveness and quality of data.
Support Engineers in preparing technical evaluations, solving problems and coordinating technical work to support engineering and operational plans.
Assisting in the preparation of technical documents such as equipment specifications, engineering calculations, installation, testing, operating and maintenance procedures.
Provide assistance with monthly reporting cycle and related standards of documentation.
Other duties as required.

Education and Experience:
By the start of the opportunity in May 2025, will have completed 3rd year of a 4-year program or 4th year of a 5-year program.
Have a minimum average of 70% GPA (B-).
Be returning to full-time studies in the same program following the completion of the work term.
Meet the minimum Internship or Co-op Program eligibility requirements as defined by your academic institution.
Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree in a related discipline (Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear and Engineering Physics).
