Job Title: P3M Specialist Professional – Project Management Capability Lead

An exciting opportunity for a PM Capability Lead has arisen within the Project Management Office (PMO)
You will be working as part of a Central Team within the PMO and responsible for providing authoritative guidance and services about Project Management Capability in support of project and business teams in their execution of projects managed across the Business.
Promotion of the general culture and professionalism of project management specialism throughout the Business.

What you will be doing
With this exciting opportunity your main responsibilities will include:
Coordinate delivery of functional improvements relating to Project Management Capability.
Escalate the capabilities, skills and training gaps needed by the wider project management community to support Project Management Capability
Support the apprentices / early careers in the relevant area of Project Management Capability
Analyse and give insights into efficient use of resource across the business in the relevant area of Project Management Capability
Monitor & review compliance and data quality in Project Management Capability, identify and report trends, propose/implement corrective actions through go/look/see or other surveillance.
Support the development and deployment of new technology / systems into business and ensure training / capability is adequate.

Ideally attained Degree level qualification or has relevant industry experience ( 1-3yrs experience).
Attained APM Project Management Qualification or can demonstrate equivalent PM knowledge.
Demonstrate good analytical skills with an ability to analyse and interpret information from different sources.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Exposure to wider project management processes and understanding of how the specialism influences and is integrated to the project / programme / portfolio.
Data analytics experience is advantageous but not essential.
