All Bruce Power (Tiverton Site) student opportunities for the May 2025 academic work terms are targeting in person placements. ** Ability to Travel to Site will be Required**.

Available Work Terms: 4-months, 8-months and 12-month placements (see application for details)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Students will support daily Operations activities and integrate into daily operations of either Bruce A or the Bruce B station.

  • Administrative assistance with Visual Management Board

  • Assessment of department level performance on a daily / monthly basis to outline areas of improvement.

  • Monitoring critical data and backlogs for equipment performance / reliability data to identify trends.

  • Assist in ensuring operations has all information equipment necessary to smoothly run our plant.

  • Assist with new work coding.

  • Scheduling and creating the operator challenge review meeting packages.

  • Support outage and operator challenges and provide deficiency reporting

  • Other duties as required

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities

  • Strong computer skills

  • Demonstrates strong learning agility

  • Dependable and self-motivated

  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team

  • A strong understanding of safety in the workplace

Education and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering program

  • Must be enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program

  • Must have completed a minimum of one year post-secondary studies

  • Must be returning full-time immediately following the work term to post-secondary studies or require a co-op term to graduate
