MRI Tech - Hospital

Pride Health is hiring MRI Technologist to support our client's facility in Charlotte, NC. This is 3 months of contract with possible extension.

Duties:
Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
Refers and questions orders to the Radiologist before performing exam.
Contacts ordering provider when there are discrepancies.
Properly identify (Using two patient identifiers) and assist patients while offering a brief explanation of the procedures.
Prepares patients for the procedure with a full explanation and documents on appropriate worksheets.
Interviews patients for a complete medical history.
Reviews in-patients, ER, and outpatients EMR’s to obtain pertinent clinical history.

Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required:
Two-year AMA approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology
ARRT (MR) required.
BLS (AHA or ARC) required.

Shift Time: 8-hour Days

Location: Charlotte, NC 28203

Floating Requirements: NA

Guaranteed hours: 40 hours

Travel Pay Range(Local) : $2200 - $2537/Week
