Mechanical Engineer - Tritium Fuel Cycle

Overview

Provide engineering support to the continued operation of Active Gas Handling System (AGHS) at Culham. AGHS processes, separates and feeds tritium gas for experimental gloveboxes. This would include supporting routine maintenance, diagnosing and resolving faults and directly supporting the operations team within the control room.
Directly support the lead engineer on a project to design, install and commission a brand new liquid nitrogen and gaseous nitrogen system to replace the existing system which currently supports AGHS operation.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

To be considered you will need to be undertaking your degree in the United Kingdom within a relevant area and have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the year.
