Job Description

πŸš€ The Job Mission

As a Mechanical Engineer - Emergency Diesel Generator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of emergency power systems. You will support the Contract Engineering Lead (CEL) in managing technical aspects and ensuring contract compliance, with a focus on emergency diesel generators essential for nuclear safety. Key responsibilities include:

⚑️ Support the Client in contractual relationships with the supplier
⚑️ Review supplier documents and coordinate reviews for diesel generator projects
⚑️ Produce comment sheets and discuss with suppliers on technical issues
⚑️ Manage modifications, open points, and scope gaps on diesel generator contracts
⚑️ Support resolution of technical issues and non-conformities related to emergency power systems
⚑️ Write surveillance plans and reports for diesel generator projects
⚑️ Manage interfaces with all disciplines involved in the contract, including system, electrical, and I&C teams
⚑️ Liaise with RD and client management teams to ensure manufacturing dates are met

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

πŸ›  Degree in Mechanical Engineering
πŸ›  Extensive knowledge of moving mechanical equipment, such as rotating equipment (eg, turbines, valves, pumps and turbomachinery) or auxiliary systems (eg, cooling systems, fuel injection systems)
πŸ›  Knowledge of equipment interfaces
πŸ›  Experience using change management and commercial systems
πŸ›  Proven experience in heavy industrial projects, demonstrating the ability to manage complex engineering tasks

Desired Skills:

βœ”οΈ Experience working in the nuclear sector would be advantageous, but not essential
βœ”οΈ Experience in managing transverse technical and contractual topics
