Job Description
What will you be doing?
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will join a team in Derby to support our activities within the Nuclear Sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Create and optimize designs for various types of heat exchangers (e.g., shell-and-tube, plate, finned) to meet specific thermal and mechanical requirements.
Diagnose and solve operational issues related to heat exchangers, such as fouling, pressure drop, or reduced efficiency.
Oversee heat exchanger projects from concept to installation, coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and other engineering teams.

Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
Ability to analyse complex problems, propose innovative solutions, and ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering , process engineering and thermal engineering or a related field
Proficient in relevant design and simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia).
Knowledge of grid codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
