Under general supervision with on-going review, this position is responsible for analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business processes. Assists in defining requirements and business cases for technology developments. This role is essential to maintain compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintains, processes, and compiles a variety of confidential and sensitive electronic and hard copy human resource records and statistics, which requires considerable use of tact and discretion in handling. Provides information and determines appropriate action on requests from all levels of employees, vendors, and other authorized parties and/or agencies. Summarizes records, prepares and may present various electronic and hard copy reports.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with system implementation efforts and requirements
- Maintains internal database files and tables and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff.
- Often works with payroll and its personnel to coordinate retrieval and reporting functions.
- Providing administrative support for and coordinates the activities of one or more human resource area(s) such as, but not limited to, employment, compensation, immigration, relocation, and adherence to company policies.
- May serve as HR department liaison to HRIS/IT function.
- Coordinates the activities of one or more human resource area(s), such as but not limited to, employment, compensation, immigration, and relocation.
- Facilitates immigration status applications and employment authorization for employees and candidates.
- Serves as partner and point of contact with third-party vendors providing immigration, relocation, and mobility support.
- Assists in communicating relocation packages; answers questions and resolves escalated issues from employees.
- Maintains and updates a variety of confidential and sensitive electronic and/or hard copy records and/or files.
- Updates and maintains HR databases and/or electronic systems.
- Prepares requested reports on topics such as employment, terminations, and/or compensation.
- May be assigned projects requiring independent interaction with senior management, senior Human Resources staff and/or external vendors or agencies.
- May coordinate and track progress of Human Resource department work assignments and/or projects.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices
- Represents business unit with project management and end users, and may represent business unit with outside vendors.
- Develops and coordinates business and user requirement specifications. Ensures consistency, traceability, feasibility and completeness. Recommends process improvement.
- Develops hard copy and electronic reports as required.
- May participate in the development and implementation of requirement practices and processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a certificate in human resources and six or more years of progressive experience in human resources administration or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in progressive HR role
- Prior HR system experience is required

- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related discipline and five or more years of progressive professional experience in a Human Resources department. May substitute a certificate in human resources from a recognized organization and/or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- The ability to establish priorities and evaluate and interpret non-routine issues or situations;
- The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information;
- The interpersonal skills and written communication skills required to effectively interface with all levels of employees, senior management, and applicants and to explain and interpret complex information;
- The ability to accurately document and maintain records and files; and
- Strong familiarity with office software.
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
