An excellent opportunity to lead the Nuclear Internal Regulation Department at Rolls-Royce Submarines Limited at our Raynesway site in Derby. This is a key role in providing independent oversight, specialist advice and internal challenge to the Site Licensee and the Board with specific consideration of the Nuclear Licensed and Environmental Permitted sites, the nuclear facility safety cases, security, maintenance, implementation, operation and compliance, together with the broader legislative requirements and Rolls-Royce Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) Management System.

With this opportunity you will be directly accountable to the Director Safety, Security and Licensee Authority and independent of the Licensees' operational organisation, leading a team responsible for independent oversight of site activities in accordance with the authority specified within the internal Regulation Mandate to provide independent challenge and assurance. To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
