Finance Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join our Civil Aerospace Manufacturing Operations team based in Washington. This role will be known internally as a Domestic Finance Analyst.
This role will be based out of our state of the art manufacturing facility in Washington, Tyne & Wear supporting the two manufacturing plants on the campus. The manufacturing campus is our centre of excellence for disc manufacturing and plays a key role in manufacturing parts to a large array of customers stretching a number of sectors. The role will report directly into the Site Finance Business Partner (Site FBP) on site and features as part of the wider Compression Systems Manufacturing Business Unit, a key business within Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace Manufacturing Operations. The role of a Domestic Finance Analyst is to provide robust Analyst support to the Site FBP, along with the first line leadership teams. Provide challenge to the business to help make the right business decisions, and providing business acumen to help drive efficiency, cost effectiveness and standardisation across Manufacturing Operations. The role supports financial governance and ensures that financial controls are operating effectively for the relevant area. This role is to be executed whilst adhering to relevant standardised procedures & systems whilst maintaining/contributing to the required level of functional stewardship.
