Job Description
What will you be doing?
As a EC&I Engineer you will join a team in Derby to support our activities within the Nuclear Sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Translate high-level requirements into detailed technical specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as IEC 61513, IEC 61227, and IEC 61508.
Create detailed designs for electrical, control, and instrumentation systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
Collaborate with vendors to source and manage equipment, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and timelines.
Who are we looking for?
EC&i Engineers will have a strong background in electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering, with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining systems across industrial or high-tech environments.
Engineers familiar with the industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering and Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in relevant design and simulation tools (e.g., ETAP, EPLAN).
Knowledge of grid codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
