All Bruce Power (Tiverton Site) student opportunities for the May 2025 academic work terms are targeting in person placements. ** Ability to Travel to Site will be Required**.

Available Work Terms: 4-months, 8-months and 12-month placements (see application for details)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to optimize efficiency and report quality

  • Help prioritize business and reporting requirements

  • Develop analysis and reports to drive process improvements

  • Create dashboards using Power BI

  • Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization

  • Solve difficult, non-routine analytical problems, applying advanced analytical methods

  • Use statistical modelling including linear regression, probability distributions and forecasting

  • Develop risk quantification and management models based on a variety of internal and external risks to the organization.

  • Participate in driving business results and outcomes in specific work streams.

  • influence maintenance programs by calculating equipment failure rates

  • modelling and forecasting parts and material demands from all key stakeholders

  • Other duties as required

We seek students that:

  • Have a strong understanding of safety in the workplace

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities

  • Advanced computer and analytical skills

  • Demonstrates strong learning agility and self-motivation

  • Solid academic performance with a G.P.A. equivalent to 3.0 or higher

  • Current post-secondary studies in one of the following programs and will return to school upon completion of their work term:

    • Bachelor of Mathematics

    • Bachelor of Science or Computer Science

    • Bachelor of Computer Engineering

    • Business System Analysis

    • Master of Science (Business Analytics)
