As a Consultant Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting and diagnosing medical images using various imaging techniques such as X-rays, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and nuclear medicine scans. You will collaborate with other medical professionals and use your expertise to help diagnose and treat patients with a variety of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to other physicians and medical professionals.
- Analyze and interpret medical images to accurately diagnose conditions and provide reports.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of patients' medical history and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and follow proper radiation safety measures.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments and advancements in radiology.
- Attend and actively participate in departmental and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Mentor and supervise radiology residents, students and other staff members.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Radiologist.
- MD/DNB/Diploma in Radio Diagnosis from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license and registration.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of various imaging techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to patient care.
- Proven track record of teamwork and collaboration.
