Requirements
- Clinical education and mentoring of nuclear medicine technology students in CPUT clinical skills laboratories and HPCSA accredited and other workplace learning (WPL) sites.
- Supervision and management of clinical skills laboratories.
- Conduct or assist with clinical demonstrations and tutorials individually or utilizing small group teaching.
- Regular monitoring of logbooks and progress reports, inclusive of student interviews to monitor progress.
- Assist with clinical rosters, year plans and assure compliance with these.
- Develop strategies and conduct clinical assessment to determine learner’s competencies in liaison with associated professionals.
Requirements
- BTech in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualification.
- At least three (3) years' clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Registration with the HPCSA as a Nuclear medicine Radiographer.
- Compliant with HPCSA Continuous Professional Development.
- A valid driver’s license.
