Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Activity: Clearances Responsibilities and Accountabilities: •Create equipment clearance documentation, based on planned or requested work, to authorize work in the field for a repair or a replacement. •Work with control room operations to ensure equipment clearances can be hung in the plant to authorize work by Maintenance (MNT) or other field crews to repair or replace equipment. •Direct or provide support to Licensed Operators (LOs) on where and how to hang equipment clearance operations in the plant. •Conduct system walk down and check the status of plant operation to ensure plant configuration control procedures are implemented during release of plant and return to service. •Review procedures developed by Operations and other departments and provide comments to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry leading operations practices.
Work Control Responsibilities and Accountabilities: •Provide support to the Operations work control resources through the entire Work Management (WM) Online and Outage process and milestones.
Continuous Improvement Responsibilities and Accountabilities: •Assist with the effective achievement of the organization�s objectives by meeting personal targets assigned by the Head of Operations. •Keep a receptive attitude and act upon formal and informal feedback and mentoring from Operations and Operations Support line management to improve performance and effectiveness. •Participate in assessments to assist in the continuous improvement of department performance.
Training Responsibilities and Accountabilities: •Participate in training to equip necessary technical knowledge and skills and successfully complete all required training courses for Clearance writer. •Provide training feedback on program effectiveness with evaluation of operator performance to enhance quality of training.
Outage and Emergency Response Organization (ERO) Support Responsibilities and Accountabilities: •Support outage and/or the emergency response organization, as assigned, to ensure safe, reliable and continued operations; this may require shift work/off hours support

Qualifications
Minimum •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline •3 years of relevant experience
Or equivalent as stated in the Job Description Procedure (HR-PRC-0004). Preferred •Bachelor’s Degree in in Nuclear Technology or equivalent. •6-10 years of experience performing Reactor Operator (RO) level duties on-shift or in an operations support role.
