The Assistant Project Manager for THE LINE project is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Project Manager. This includes assisting with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and tracking progress. The Assistant Project Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with stakeholders, managing project documents, and providing regular updates to the Project Manager. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key points of responsibility        

  • ​​Assist the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of the project 
  • Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met 
  • Track and report project progress to the Project Manager 
  • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets 
  • Monitor project costs and ensure they are within budget 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met 
  • Identify and resolve project issues and risks 
  • Prepare project status reports and other documents 
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project management processes and procedures 
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager 
  • Perform other duties as assigned​ 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or related field 
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management 
  • Experience in the design and construction of large-scale projects 
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices 
  • Professional Registration: Registration with a relevant body (i.e. PMI, ICE) will be viewed favorably
