Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Analytical Specialist in Advanced Characterization Structural Elucidation Team (ACT-SEL) for employing advanced analytical techniques to characterize and elucidate the structure and properties of various materials at a molecular and atomic level. You will play a crucial role in driving research and development initiatives by providing in-depth insights into complex materials through the application of cutting-edge analytical methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• You will be responsible to guide team for effective method development by utilizing appropriate analytical techniques for providing timely support to product development across verticals (e.g. Injectable, Topical, Inhalation and OSD).
• You will be responsible to minimize the Turn-around-Time for the analytical queries without compromising on the quality of the outcomes. Setting up of priorities of the products, managing of the lean-daily management (LDM) boards, daily trackers, and charters.
• You will be responsible for Interpretation of analytical results and coordination with internal and cross functional team to Leverage technical expertise and presenting the scientific data in internal and external forums
• You will be responsible for expanding the scientific capabilities by collaborating with Institutes and Industries for developing orthogonal analytical techniques to strengthen the analytical understanding.
• You will be responsible for documentation, electronic lab notebook documentation, method development report preparation, method of analysis and review of documents generated by peers or juniors.
• You will be responsible to employ advanced analytical techniques such as spectroscopy Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Ultraviolet- Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis), mass spectrometry, Gas chromatography (GC), high-performance liquid chromatography HPLC), electron microscopy transmission electron microscope (TEM) and the scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction, and other specialized techniques to analyse and characterize materials.
• You will be responsible for trouble shooting for products from lab development stage to plant scale up using various analytical techniques. 
• You will be Supporting complex generic projects by generating knowledge of Reference listed Drug (RLD) through reverse engineering and develop strategy to prove pharmaceutical sameness.
• You will be responsible for Coaching, Mentoring and training the scientists and members of the team.  

Qualifications

Educational qualification: MS in Pharmaceutical Analysis/Post Graduation in Pharma/Physics 

Minimum work experience: 8-15 years of experience 

Skills & attributes:
Technical Skills

• Experience in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy
• (FTIR), Ultraviolet- Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis).
• Shall be able to conduct various 1D and 2D NMR experiments
• Quantification using impurities and structural signatures using various 1D and 2D NMR experiments
• Experience on structural elucidation reports preparation using NMR, LC-MS , UV and IR data
• Shall manage the magnet for liquid nitrogen filling
• Knowledge on competitive strategies for technology innovation and Analytical Equipment.
• Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and statistical tools.
• Shall be able to perform GMP analysis
