Position Summary: Equipment Delivery Field Representative will be responsible for the in-office planning and oversight for the delivery / assembly of various Holtec fabricated Dry Cask Storage components to various client Nuclear Power Plants across the United States. Deliverables include HI-STORMS, MPC’s, Vertical Cask Transporters (VCT) and various pieces of ancillary equipment. Job scope consists of approximately 50% travel and 50% office project planning.Job Duties:
- Responsible for contacting vendors to secure and review quotes for delivery ‘ assembly projects.
- Interface directly with Holtec clients to coordinate site support, security support, and general project support for equipment deliveries and concrete pours.
- Responsible for preparing vendor Purchase Orders, after reviewing competitive quotes.
- Travel to Concrete Batch Plants and Test Labs to perform surveillances per Holtec guidelines from QC department.
- Conduct morning briefs / meetings of project crew members in the field.
- Oversee the safe delivery ,offload and assembly of equipment at various Nuclear Plants.
- Oversee concrete placement into HI STORM casks as final fabrication on site.
- Typical job lasts 1-2 weeks with a maximum of 3 weeks
- Rental Car (and Gas), Hotel, and Fights paid for by and booked by Holtec Corporate.
- Daily per diem provided for food.
- Overtime Policy for extra hours worked.
Required Skills / Abilities:

Must be able obtain a “Unescorted Access” badge into Nuclear Plants:
- Drug and Alcohol screening
- Clear criminal background check
- Valid Driver’s license

Physically fit enough to
- Stand for periods of time.
- Ascend and descend an extension ladder.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time.
- Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Leadership skills
- Good public speaking skills
Education / Experience:
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Experience in the nuclear / general construction field preferred but not mandatory.
