As a Planner you'll be responsible for the medium/long-term planning of one or more projects. You'll collect and control the fabrication sequence prepared by Manufacturing Engineers,  and plan the activities to achieve the project delivery dates ensuring the smooth and cost-efficient flow of production operations in the most efficient use of time and resources.

 

Your day-to-day:

 

  • Medium-long term planning of one or multiple projects: setting and maintenance of Project Master Schedule, starting from fabrication sequences prepared by Manufacturing Engineer, assigning a lead time to each operation and resources, meeting Client milestones and delivery dates.
  • Project Critical Path identification and monitoring, supporting Component Delivery Manager team to meet project objectives.
  • Control and expediting the effective project progress; identification/follow up of recovery plan, when necessary, addressing issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption or delays.
  • Issue Project Plan reporting: prepare project manufacturing schedule, workload and progress reporting highlighting the variances and proposing or requesting recovery options. Identify critical situations like bottlenecks or overload of resources, and propose mitigation/recovery actions.
  • Safety Compliance: Complies with company policy standards and procedures e.g. safety, quality, risk, security etc. applicable to the role.

 

Who you are:

 

  • You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree on Engineering or a tecnical degree
  • Preferable 1-2 years of experience in the same role
  • working knowledge of ERP system would be considered as a plus
