Responsibilities






As a Nuclear Medicine Tech II, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Radiography Therapeutic team, including the Nuclear Medicine Physician, providing optimal exams and procedures. Your expertise in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and performing preventative maintenance on department equipment will be crucial in delivering not only top care but comfortable and efficient treatment to our patients while adhering to all guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications






Education & Experience

 

  • Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Associate's Degree in related field required

 

Licenses and Certifications

    • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
    • CTNM - State of California Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine all scopes including venipuncture required
  •  Must have one of the following primary certification:
    • NMTCB(CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
    •  ARRT(N) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology
    •  Additional post-primary advanced certification preferred
    •  ​ARRT(CT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computed Tomography
    • NMTCB(PET) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Positron Emission Tomography
    •  NMTCB(NCT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Nuclear Cardiology Technologist
