VentureBlick is the one-stop Go Global solution for healthcare innovation, making cross-border cross-sector connections to take local innovations worldwide. It unites innovators, clinicians, investors, and ecosystem partners on a global scale for better visibility and efficiency. 

We are seeking experienced clinicians who share our passion for supporting healthcare innovation to be part of our VentureBlick Advisory Network. This is a freelance position where advisors will join an extensive and exclusive network of clinicians and healthcare industry professionals across the globe. As a freelance advisor, you will utilise your expertise to evaluate and support the most innovative healthcare startups.

Who you are

A practicing clinician with at least 10 years of experience in one or more of the following clinical areas:

  • Allied health – including Dietetics, Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologists
  • Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Dermatology and aesthetics
  • Emergency medicine
  • Family Medicine and Primary Care
  • Internal Medicine – Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Geriatric Medicine, Haematology, Hepatology, Infectious Disease Medicine, Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care, Rehabilitation Medicine, Renal Medicine, Rheumatology, Neurology, Nuclear Medicine, Transplant Medicine
  • Lab Medicine including Anatomical Pathology, Clinical Microbiology
  • Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology
  • Nursing
  • Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBGYN)
  • Opthalmology
  • Orthopaedic Surgery and Hand Surgery
  • Paediatric and Neonatal Medicine
  • Psychiatry
  • Radiology including Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology
  • Surgery – Breast Surgery, Colorectal, General Surgery,Head and Neck Surgery, Neurosurgery, Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery
  • Urology

OR

 

An experienced healthcare industry professional with at least 15 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • MedTech or pharmaceutical commercisalisation
  • Procurement decision-making
  • AI in healthcare

 

If your specialty is not on the list, we still encourage you to apply as we will continue to add specialties on a rolling basis.

 

IMPORTANT: We are specifically looking for advisors based in Sweden. Kindly ensure that you meet the geographic requirements before applying.

Your role

  • You will be invited to be part of VentureBlick Discovery, a new global networking platform and community for healthcare innovation, where advisors, innovators, investors, and distributors from all over the world connect. Discovery is where innovators can view your profile and reach out to you, and where projects and opportunities will be listed. It will also facilitate engagements and payments.
  • You may be invited to participate in expert insights and medical due diligence. Advisor fees will be provided based on the specific requirements of each client.
  • You may also be invited to attend review panels, pitch days, or other offline events (optional, based on your availability and the event location)
  • There will also be opportunities to earn referral fees for successful introductions to startups or projects that align with VentureBlick's mission.
