We are seeking an experienced for an experienced I&C Engineer to participate in Big Science projects. You will join a dynamic team, working on the ITER project, a cutting-edge nuclear fusion research facility.
The successful candidate will work on the development of complex ITER diagnostic plant systems.
Position activities:
- Design, develop, and implement diagnostic I&C systems for ITER plant;
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectures, specifications, procedures, and test plans.
- Develop software components using C/C++ frameworks.
Requisitos
Your profile:
- BSc or MSc in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or Electronics.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts
- UML - Unified Modeling Language (preferred tool Enterprise Architect)
- C/C++
- Git
- English proficiency (B2 or equivalent)
- Dynamic and adaptable individual with a multidisciplinary approach.
- Keen to understanding customer processes
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Python for scripting and data analysis
- EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System) for scientific control systems
- JIRA for project management and issue tracking
