We're looking for a talented Engineering Manager to take on this exciting challenge, where you’ll make a significant impact and collaborate with a dynamic team. Based mainly in Dessel, Villers-le-Bouillet, or Grimbergen, with occasional travel to France and Germany, you’ll report directly to the Section Manager.

plan, organize, lead, coordinate, and control all activities related to the Fuel theme within the set framework of the section
- aim to achieve objectives in commercial performance, customer relationships, project implementation, financial turnover, budget, profit, and resource management
- manage projects from the tendering phase to final invoicing
- lead and coach your team, including project engineers, experts, project coordinators, dispatchers, technicians, and drivers, from an operational perspective
- ensure adherence to safety, security, and quality standards
- maintain long-term relationships with customers, partners, and subcontractors, while detecting potential projects
- negotiate with clients and partners in cooperation with the Legal Department and Tendering
- negotiate with subcontractors for the delivery of goods and services in line with project needs and financial conditions, in cooperation with the Purchase Department
- manage your team of approximately 10 FTEs, ensuring a positive work atmosphere
- report regularly to the Section Manager on the activities and results of your theme, and cooperate with Project Managers from other themes
- make recommendations to the Section Manager to improve overall section management

- nuclear packaging operation
- maintenance of packaging
- design and delivery of packaging and associated equipment
- feasibility studies
- technical calculations (mechanical, thermal, leak tightness, criticality, and radio protection) and safety files related to nuclear packagings
Ready to bring your expertise to the next level? You already have what it takes:
- a master’s degree in civil/industrial engineering
- good knowledge of mechanical concepts, with applications in the nuclear sector being a plus
- at least 5 years of experience in managing projects in a complex and preferably nuclear environment
- strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate others
- ability to work well in an environment with multiple concurrent projects
- strong financial acumen, with the ability to maintain a good overview of project finances and generate necessary reports
- a focus on customer satisfaction and a knack for building long-term customer relationships
- results-oriented mindset with entrepreneurial and pragmatic problem-solving abilities
- creativity and initiative in managing diverse projects
- excellent communication skills
- fluency in Dutch, French, and English (German is a plus)
