Recognizing the abundance of talent in India, we are strategically shifting our focus to tap into this valuable resource pool. Embracing this shift will allow us to stay ahead in the ever-evolving digital landscape while fostering cross-cultural collaboration and diversity within our teams.

Our business and clients move fast, and our Digital practice needs to react quickly. This makes the space a challenging environment to work within, where we must balance speed of delivery with high quality output that unlocks real and lasting business outcomes whilst minimizing our risk exposure and protecting our commercial position.

As our Digital Technical Authority (Director level) for our Global Technology Centre (GTC) in India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by shaping and executing our organization’s technical strategy. Your expertise will guide critical decisions, ensuring that our projects align with industry best practices, innovation, and quality standards. The Digital practice in the GTC consists of three practices Enabling Services, Data Intelligence and Technology Solutions. As the Technical Authority you will be the accountable for the technical delivery across all three practices. You will ensure that technical decisions are made with a balanced view of what good looks like, considering the buy, partner, build decision, technical development stack available, and data, security and IP considerations. You will engage heavily in our digital Global Technical Networks (GTNs), shaping these and aligning the GTC accordingly.

Enabling Services encompasses our digital internally managed services that support our wider business. Data Intelligence helps our clients set data strategy and governance, architect and manage their data and generate insight from it through artificial intelligence and powerful visualizations. Technology Solutions is our end-to-end service to help our clients integrate, deliver and run high quality technology their people embrace.

You will need to work with the Practice Leads in India, whilst collaborating closely with counterparts in our global regions to instill technical rigor into our development processes, coaching and mentoring junior staff so they are able to make better technical decisions day to day, whilst being the ultimate stop for more complex decisions.

This is a part-time team leadership role, and you will have a non-productive allowance to balance alongside your wider project delivery.

  • Scope the technical solutions for our complex and/or high-risk projects, drawing on your industry experience to take strategic decisions that allow re-use, optimize delivery efficiency and comply to internal and external standards (e.g. security, data residency, preferred suppliers etc.).
  • Proactively monitor and appropriately manage technical delivery risks, with a focus on protecting the GTC reputation with the wider business and our clients, solving and learning from issues as they arise
  • Streamline interfaces with other Practice areas, both within the GTC and more broadly, to enable high value integrated propositions, identifying complementary expertise and aligning ways of working to reduce barriers
