The Imaging Clinical Supervisor (CT) assists in continuous performance improvement within the department in order to maintain optimal quality patient care. Coordinates the overall workflow of the department to ensure quality patient care, efficient and timely processes, and customer satisfaction. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge and understanding of radiation protection and safety principles and procedures. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Imaging principles and techniques. Manages the overall operations of the section.


Shift: Full Time


Hours: Monday – Friday


Location: Mount Vernon Hospital


Job Responsibilities



  • Assists in the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures, including but not limited to quality assurance/control programs.

  • Resolves physician complaints regarding clinical performance.

  • Demonstrates excellent triage of patients.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of radiation safety and protection principles.

  • Demonstrates creativity in section operational skills, decision-making skills, and contingency planning preparation.

  • Initiates and manages various projects with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.


Requirements for Consideration



  • Associate degree or Graduate of an accredited school/program of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine with a valid certification.

  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist

    • Must be certified by at least one of the following: ARRT or ARDMS or CNT or CVT or NMTCB or RVT or CAMRT or NMTCB; as applicable with additional certification in an applicable imaging modality required.


  • Three years of imaging experience in a hospital/healthcare environment with experience in an applicable imaging modality. 

  • Three years leadership experience in a hospital/healthcare environment with a diagnostic testing department, preferred.

  • Basic Life Support Certification
