Position Summary:The Crane and Rigging Supervisor will be a qualified self-starter with the ability to operate overhead bridge cranes. You will be responsible for supervising crane and rigging operations, training, and mentoring crane operators, as well as lifting and moving materials around the manufacturing and warehouse floor (hands on training) as safely and efficiently as possible. Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Audit daily Pre-Shift crane checks and filling out service requests as necessary.
- Establish crane production priorities daily, crane move schedule creation and adherence.
- Create lift plans for all areas of the shop, while collaborating with Production and Safety to maintain and update current lift plans.Β
- Maintaining inventory of below the hook lifting devices (i.e lift beam, spreader beam, etc) and inspecting all rigging and rigging hardware pre and post shift.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and identify hazard findings throughout shop with crane operators.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications as well as applying mathematics to calculate weights of loads.
- Enforce all workplace safety rules and regulations.
- Work and communicate with Production Supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in Crane Operation.
- Working knowledge of OSHA and industrial crane and rigging standards (e.g., ASME B30 series, and CMAA)
- Advanced rigging experience.
- Experience operating up to 100 ton Overhead Bridge Cranes.
- Being able to quickly assess the safety of a situation and act accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7-10 years experience in Crane Operation.
- Experience operating 200 ton and above Overhead Bridge Cranes.
- 3-5 years management experience.
