Your future team:
Join our Commissioning Team out in France where you will be working under the Commissioning Manager. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing hands on commissioning activites at our clientβs facilities in Valduc France.
You will be joining one of three commissioning Team working on a rota of 3 weeks on (located in France) and 1 week off.
Your Missions:
Β π Ensure delivery of network architecture, cyber-security, PLC, SCADA, HMI, data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and interface design.
π οΈC&I systems commissioning from design to completion within budget, maintaining safety, quality, time, and performance standards.
π Β Author commissioning documents and ensure safe work systems are in place and all procedures are adhered to and signed off with full and accurate records of the test results recorded.
π Organize commissioning activities, including meetings, tests, demonstrations, and training events.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills:
π§ Experience commissioning C&I command and control systems for high-energy X-ray machines.
π» Familiarity with panorama SCADA (CODRA) application configuration platform is highly desirable but not essential
β‘ Hands-on experience with commissioning, defect repair, and maintenance of high-energy X-ray equipment.
π Ability to fault find PLC logic, address hardware faults, and perform diagnostic checks.
π·ββοΈ Onsite management of trade support team for operations, defect repair, and maintenance.
π Experience with factory acceptance testing and documentation vetting.
π Understanding of Design Engineering, Construction, and Handover processes.
π§ͺ Ability to organize and execute complex commissioning tests and analyze results.
π Capability to perform initial operator duties during commissioning testing phases.
π Understanding of HSAWA, CDM, and risk assessments.
βοΈ Knowledge of Safety Functional Requirements and Safety Justifications.
π Demonstrable knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 and related standards (e.g., BS EN 60204).
Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance, and ideally DV. To gain this they will be required to be aΒ Sole UK national,Β
Location:Β CEA Valduc, France 3 weeks (onsite), 1 week leave.
Hours: Up to 50 hours per week
