Job Purpose

John Cockerill Hydrogen (JCH2) has Global footprints and to supports its International and domestic operations we are looking for a CAD Drafter to be based in Mumbai (India) office. John Cockerill Hydrogen design, engineer manufactures and supply Alkaline Electrolyzer based Green Hydrogen production units/plants.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Stack modelling and Design with Inventor. The knowledge of Skid design is an advantage.
  • Participate in product development and design optimization.
  • Challenge the engineer stack and provide technical solutions.
  • Creating 2D Drawing from the stack 3D model and all the other components.
  • Creating piping isometric, drawings in AutoCAD Plant3D is an advantage.
  • Participate in the technical follow-up of projects.
  • Objectify the applicant's conception by drawing.
  • Participate in the improvement of 3D modelling methods with various 3D software.
  • Check the completeness of the inputs received from the Technical Project Manager and basic engineering department to proceed to his/her work,
  • Creating orthometric drawing with AutoCAD Plant3D is an advantage.
  • Respect the pipe stress analysis reports for piping hangers’ location,
  • Issue the manufacturing documentation (mainly isometric drawings) in compliance with internal standards and contractual requirements,
  • Provide the engineers with information needed for the project progress,
  • Manage the mechanical interfaces between the different equipment,
  • Issue the manufacturing documentation in compliance with administrative standards,
  • Issue EBOM’s (Engineering Bill of Materials) for raw material procurement,

 

 

Education and Experience

 

  • You have a higher education Diploma in industrial and technical design.
  • You have experience (minimum 5 years) in 3D industrial design & detail Engineering Experience.
  • You are also dynamic, motivated, willing, open-minded and have a sense of initiative.
  • You are methodical, rigorous and concerned with quality in the execution of your tasks.
  • You master the INVENTOR, AUTOCAD (AutoCAD PLANT 3D, Navisworks and Vault is an advantage)
  • You have solid knowledge in Piping, P & ID, equipment’s Modeling, GA & detail drawing.
  • Knowledgeable in Detailed piping isometrics extraction is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Understanding of professional environment in the Energy field
  • Basic knowledge of usual codes / norms and good practice rules (ASME and EN)
  • Mechanical drawings (cutting, machining, welding, assembly…)
  • EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials)
  • Knowledge of mechanical properties of steel elements (ASME and EN)
  • Reading of technical documentation
  • Proficiency in English (Written / spoken).
  • Knowledge of French language is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Nx, Teamcenter is an advantage.
