Summary
Under general supervision, preplans and executes or performs maintenance, construction and testing tasks in the electrical and instrument and controls area to maintain operations of the plant and systems. Performs common mechanical work consistent with training to maintain operation of the plant.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
1. Supports station maintenance activities Assemble, disassemble, repair and adjust all types of electrical and mechanical equipment which operates at a nominal voltage of 600 volts. The Company will confer with the Union prior to assigning any safety related activities.
2. Assist maintenance Department Employees of a higher classification.
3. Perform other or similar or less skilled work of the Maintenance Department.

Must meet the Company's "General Requirements," and, in addition:
1• Must successfully complete the Nuclear Services Technician -Electrical (XXXX) Modular Training Course
2. Must demonstrate:
a . The ability to follow detailed instructions and carry out complex assignments.
b . An aptitude for mechanical and technical work.
c. Keen faculties of observation.
d. Oral and written communication skills necessary for performance of the work.
3. Must have successfully completed the appropriate Pre-Employment Tests and obtained a high school diploma or its equivalent.
4. Must be able to qualify for an auto driver's license to operate vehicles in the State of New Jersey.
